Mobile app idea #31: Group Tracker App

An Android and iOS app that tracks group member locations and navigates to a central point or leader. Perfect for a tour group, amusement parks, sporting events, bar hopping, or school field trips.

The app would allow a group leader to create a new group with a specific passcode. Group members can join using the passcode. The app will use the GPS to display a map with all the members. Group leaders can be alerted if any member wanders pass a certain distance from the preset max distance. Lost members can also ping group leaders for help. The app can also provide directions for leaders and group members.
